2024 PWHL Draft Set for Monday

Event to Begin at 6 p.m. at Roy Wilkins Auditorium

The 2024 Premier Hockey Federation (PHWF) Draft will take place on Monday, June 10 at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul, Minnesota. The event will begin at 6 p.m. ET and will be streamed live on ESPN+.

A total of 60 players will be selected in the draft, with each of the league's six teams making 10 picks. The first overall pick will belong to the Toronto Six, who finished with the worst record in the league during the 2023 season.

The draft is expected to be a deep one, with a number of talented players available. Some of the top prospects include:

• Maddie Meyer (Forward, Boston College): Meyer is a dynamic forward who led Boston College to the NCAA championship game in 2023. She is a skilled skater with a great shot.
• Grace Zumwinkle (Defenseman, University of Wisconsin): Zumwinkle is a physical defender who can also contribute offensively. She was named the WCHA Defensive Player of the Year in 2023.
• Ella Shelton (Forward, Ohio State University): Shelton is a speedy winger who is a threat to score every time she touches the puck. She led Ohio State in scoring in 2023.
