Manchester City and Real Madrid played to a 1-1 draw in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal on Wednesday, sending the match into extra time. The teams are tied 4-4 on aggregate after the first leg ended 3-3 in Madrid last week.
City took the lead in the 73rd minute through Riyad Mahrez, but Real Madrid equalized in the 89th minute through Rodrygo.
Kevin De Bruyne returned to the starting lineup for City after dealing with an illness during the first leg. He played 80 minutes before being substituted.
